IT IS RARE IF EVER THAT WE SERVE A MARE WHEN SHE HAS A FOAL AT FOOT AND NOT ALL OF OUR BARREN MARES ARE SERVED EACH YEAR, THAT WAY WE CAN ENSURE THAT THE FOALS WE BREED ARE HANDLED, WORMED AND VACCINATED PROPERLY AND CAN BE RETAINED UNTIL THE RIGHT HOME COMES ALONG. Unique has belonged to us since she was 18 months old, she is now 19 years old and is a wonderful mare. Possessing some of the oldest proven bloodlines, she has the sweetest nature, but at the same time oozes presence. Before retiring from the showring she was many times a Supreme Champion, bronze and silver medal winner and has stood in the top three at all the major shows inculding the Royal Welsh, Glanusk, Lampeter and Cheshire County to name but a few. she is the dam of some wonderful stock including Northwick Elektra, Northwick Nikita and Northwick Estelle. She currently (2014) has a beautiful filly foal at foot by Gwenllan Samson

Wendy is a full sister to Unique. We have owned her since she was 12 months old and she is now 17. She was shown 10 times as a three year old gaining 9 firsts and several championships and a bronze medal and has not been shown since. A wonderful broodmare she has consistently excellent stock and is the dam of Northwick Actress, Northwick Nathaniel, Northwick Noble Lord to name but a few. She has a lovely filly foal at foot in 2013 which is sold and will therefore not be covered again until 2014 -

Another of our oldies, Salli has been with us since she was 6 years old (now 21). She is a fantastic mare that has tremendous depth and substance combined with powerful action. Before retiring from the showring she was many times a supreme champion and a silver and bronze medal winner. She is a fantastic broodmare passing on to her stock her great depth of girth and powerful action. We have retained three of her daughters and two of her grandaughters. She is the mother of (amongst others)Northwick Bed of Roses, Northwick Lucy Lockett, Northwick Lady Lisa (all retained), Northwick Victoria (winner under saddle), Northwick Cherry Blossom (just been backed this year ready to commence a career undersaddle) and has another superb filly foal at foot this year by Supreme Champion Northwick Notorious. Has not been covered in 2013 but hopefully if still healthy will be covered in 2014.

Georgie was purchased at 6 months old (is now 21 years) she was bred by Jenny Davison who took her cobs to New Zealand and was very successful whilst there frequently being the top of the sire ratings both there and Australia. Georgie is the dam of some lovely stock which have gone on to be supreme champions, medal winners and Royal Welsh winners. Her progeny includes Northwick Nobility a supreme Champion, medal winner, Royal welsh Winner and sire of supreme champions and medal winners. She is also the dam of Karasilen Sparkling Victor a super stockgetter and sire of champions and medal winners. Northwick Maximus another of her sons has been a successful driving cob and is now turning his hand to dressage very successfully too!

Myfanwy was purchased by us about 9 years ago, she is now 20 years old and is a wonderful mare, she has a tremendous amount of bone, a good eye and a fabulous temperament. Her stock have gone on to be wonderful quality alround animals and includes the multi-talented Northwick Debonair who is a regular winner in the showring doing many disciplines including sshowing, working hunter, eventing/jumping etc. Covered late 2014 with Northwick Nobility.

Her first foal was a lovely black filly which has been retained to date and she currently has a fabulous colt foal at foot by Gwenllan Samson.

Now 6 years old, she was shown lightly as a youngster, her wins included Northern All welsh Medal show (res ch), WYWPCA show, Hambleton show (res ch.), Lanchester show (ygstk champ), equifest (res champ). Currently has her first foal at foot, a strapping dun colt by Danaway Flashjack.

Model is a very typey filly, excelent mover and has a lovely head. Still only 3 years of age, she has been very lightly shown winning WYWPCA show and Oswestry show as a yearling. Coming second in a strong class at Glanusk welsh stallion show as a two year old and first at Glanusk Welsh Stallion show as a three year old, also gaining first and youngstock champion at Anglelsey show as a three year old. (only times shown at date of writing). Model will make a superb addition to our brood mares and will be served for the first time in a couple of years.

A beautiful, quality filly, full sister to the wonderful show mare Northwick Elektra, pictured here at 3 years old, Estelle has only been shown twice and was 1st and youngstock champ and reserve on each occasion. Almost the image of her mother she is an exciting prospect as a future broodmare for us. (not covered in 2013) - ESTELLE HAS NOW BEEN SOLD BUT WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING HER IN THE SHOWRING AND THE WONDERFUL STOCK SHE PRODUCES FOR HER NEW OWNERS.
